Libre Flot has been held in the French prisons for 15 months, in an isolation regime, that aims at the calumniation of the struggles he has given and his political and physical extermination. The anti-antiterrorist service (DGSI) and the judicial authorities that have been played a role in the case – although they clearly know that he was in involved in the Kurdish forces of YPG – attempt to link him, being in hunger strike, with ISIS, frame him as terrorist and member of a criminal organisation, with absolutely no clue.
In today’s conditions, when modern totalitarianism tries to impose oppression, exploitation and war as the only possible living condition, the example of comrades fighting in Rojava is the material expression of the revolution that we envision, via a procedure in which Kurds, Arabs, Assyrians, Turkmen, Armenian, Turks and people coming from western countries, both men and women, strugglers with different backgrounds, fight and build together.
On the contrary, the French state attempts to criminalise both the people who fought along with the Kurds against ISIS and also to oppress the struggle against state and capitalist barbarity, the struggle that has as compass the social liberation and the creation of an equal, just and free society. From our side, as anarchist men and women, we stand in solidarity with the just struggle of Libre Flot, who is in hunger strike, and we raise our fists, along with the oppressed people of the world, to tear down the bankrupt world of authority.
